Coach Swamy rejoins Nadi

Experienced Coach Kamal Swamy has rejoined Nadi for the 2022 season.

The Korovuto College teacher coached Ba and Nadroga last season.

Acting President Mun Sami Chetty said they have secured Swamy's services on a long-term basis as he looks to settle down in the Jetset town with the vision to develop young players and adapt a playing philosophy that will be implemented from U16 onwards

Swamy had a lot of success with Nadi from 2013 to 2016 where he led the team to win back to back Fiji FACT and Pacific Cup titles together with the National League and the historic Champion versus Champion Series.

The team began its preseason training yesterday under the guidance of Swamy and assistant coaches Emosi Baleinuku and Ravindra Narayan.

Also assisting the side as trainer is national team physio Varun Karan who has moved to Nadi this year.
