Kamikamica hearing scheduled for Feb 9th

Fiji Bati and Melbourne Storm prop Tui Kamikamica’s case conferencing hearing has been forwarded to February 9 with the warrant to be executed if Kamikamica fails to appear.

This is after Kamikamica failed to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday when a warrant was issued and placed on file to ensure his appearance at his next court date.

Kamikamica’s Lawyer Bernie Balmer indicated that the Fijian prop will plead not guilty.

The front row forward has been stood down by the Storm until the charge has been finalised and Mr Balmer asked for the change to be heard as soon as possible.

Kamikamica has been alleged that he assaulted a woman outside a Brisbane hotel in Fortitude Valley in November.

Kamikamica has played 55 NRL games and represented Fiji 12 times.
