Only 8 teams will play in tournaments

Fiji Football Association has confirmed that only eight premier teams will feature in the major tournaments this season.

Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf said although ten teams will feature in the Digicel Premier League, only eight will play in the tournaments.

He said the host of each tournament will automatically qualify with the the top 7 teams in the DPL standing.

The Digicel Fiji FACT will be played at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, Punjas Battle of the Giants at Churchill Park in Lautoka and the Courts Inter District Championship at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
