Rewa hopeful for friendly matches

Rewa football team is hopeful to play friendly matches as build up ahead for the 2022 football competition which commences next month.
Head Coach Roderick Singh said they began training two weeks ago and players will be tested in the friendly matches.
Singh added that he is hoping to play friendlies against Tailevu Naitasiri and Suva later this month.
"The players are already in the football mood and that is seen during our training."
"The build-up is going well at the moment and we are looking forward to organising an 11 v 11 friendly."
"We are thinking of playing with Suva and Tailevu Naitasiri. It will not just help us but the other two teams as well in their build up."
"Basically our main focus will be testing the players and also the young players in the team who were part of the team last year but did not get enough game time. So our priority is to give game time to the players and test them as well."
Meanwhile, Anish Khem and Inoke Turagalailai are the only players who have applied for a move in the pre-season transfer window.
