Strength and conditioning crucial: Byrne

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head Coach Mick Byrne says there are a lot of immediate areas of focus before Drua's opening game against Waratahs next month.
According to Byrne there is a huge need to improve on their set pieces and ensure that players are physically and mentally prepared for the opening game.
"The immediate areas of focus have been strength and conditioning, getting ready for the rigours of Super Rugby."
"Our set-piece, both attack and defence and our phase play systems in both attack and defence, including counter and kick chase."
He also said the two trials set a major objective for the Super Rugby season and he wants to see training implemented during the two trials.
"Ensuring we can implement our training at game pace. Working towards getting our systems in place and continuing to develop our decision-making, both in attack and defence."
