Defending champion Suva is ready to defend the Futsal Inter District Championship title.
Head Coach Vishal Nadan said the side will have most of the players that featured last season.
He said new signings Anish Khem and Akuila Mateisuva will miss the tournament as they are in the national camp preparing for the World Cup qualifiers.
"Nothing will be different for Suva because we have our same group of star players who have been with the team since the last few years."
"I have full confidence in the boys because I have seen them winning the central zone title which was not easy yet, these boys gave in their best."
"I'm hundred per cent sure that they will again bag the title and score better goals. We have to keep our focus right and our aim is to successfully retain our title."
Nadan said the side is facing a lot of challenges in the buildup to the tournament.
"We don't have a proper training facility. Basically there is unavailability of training facilities."
“Most of the futsal courts have been booked for club competitions and we don’t get the facility to train."
"That's the major concern we have. Because if we don't have the venue to train then we won't be trained ahead of the competition."
Nadan will name his final squad this weekend.
