Emeri Nai and Lora Bukalidi grabbed a hat-trick of goals as Rewa Women's thrashed Nadroga women by 8-nil in round four of the Digicel women's Super League at the Uprising Sports Ground in Navua today.
Mentored by former women's head coach Marika Rodu, Rewa made a quick start in the first minute of the match through Emeri Nai, who took a powerful corner kick that went directly into the net for a 1-nil lead.
After a foul by the Nadroga players, Rewa was given a free-kick which Luisa Delati took and extended the lead to 2-nil in the fifth minute of the match.
Rewa kept their possession and Lora Bukalidi scored her first goal of the match right before Nai doubled and took the lead to 4-nil.
A tired Nadroga could not resist a hard-hitting Delta tigress and it was Bukalidi who continued with her fine form and scored her hat trick of goals before halftime and extended Rewa's lead to 6-nil at halftime.
Nadroga women made a strong start in the second half of the match and tried their best to hold Rewa in the first 30 minutes.
But Rewa continued looking for a win and it was Tavaita Tikoisuva who scored after a ball rebound while Emeri Nai scored her hat trick to seal the win.
