Former Marist Brothers High School sprinter Jerome Nale has failed to make the cut in the USA squad for this weekend's Toulouse and next week's London 7s.
The youngster made his debut for side last year during the HSBC Vancouver 7s and Edmonton 7s.
The former Deans Under 19 competitor plays as a half back for the Santa Rosa Rugby Club in the US.
The Mike Friday coached side will see the healthy returns of Stephen Tomasin, David Still and two-time World Rugby Men’s Sevens Player of the Year Award winner, Perry Baker.
Baker had an early exit from Vancouver following an on-field collision but was cleared post-tournament and ready to return in France.
Leading the USA in tries from Vancouver, young guns Lucas Lacamp, Malachi Esdale and Ben Broselle look to carry offensive momentum into France.
USA is grouped with Australia, New Zealand and Scotland in Pool C.
USA 7s squad: D'Montae Noble, Ben Broselle, David Still, Maceo Brown, Joe Schroeder, Kevon Williams (C), Folau Niua, Malacchi Esdale, Stephen Tomasin, Faitala Talapusi, Perry Baker, Lucas Lacamp, Adam Channel, Marcus Tupuola.
