Bower, Reece to start against Ireland

Fiji-bon prop George Bower and winger Sevu Reece will start for the All Blacks against Ireland on Saturday while Number 8 Pita Gus Sowakula is in line for debut after being named in the reserves.

Bower and Reece have been consistent performers for Super Rugby Pacific champions, the Crusaders this season while Sowakula was impressive all season long for the Chiefs which saw his selection into the 34-member All Blacks squad.

Blues Number 8 Hoskins Sotutu has not been included in the match day squad.

Ireland will come into the series with a loss to the New Zealand Maori 32-17 on Wednesday night

The match kicks-off at 7.05pm at Eden Park in Auckland.
