Nasinu Captain Nasoni Mereke says they will make a strong comeback against Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 11 of the Digicel Premier League on Sunday.
Mereke said despite their 2-1 loss to Labasa last week, the players are adamant to bounce back and live up to the giant killer's tag.
"We lost to Labasa but the boys learned a lot of things from that match."
"I think we were not settled well but the players have been working hard."
"The whole team has been rectifying the mistakes we made."
"Our team morale is good and players are eager for the match this week."
"Training has been going well but we just have to better our backline and be consistent."
"Nasinu is a young team and players are growing in each game. We have a lot to learn and execute on the field and players are given game time."
"Just expecting a tough match from Naitasiri because last time we had a draw and I'm sure this time they will put huge pressure."
"People call us giant killers and that itself is a boost for the players because we have fought against tough teams in the DPL."
"But I'm sure we will give a better performance this week because players are working very hard and are really going in for this game," he added.
NZOTC Nasinu will face Tailevu Naitasiri at 11.30 am at Nausori's Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday.
