Tonga will test our physicality: Mayanavanua

Flying Fijians lock Temo Mayanavanua says their physicality will be tested by a mighty Tongan forward pack in their Pacific Nations Cup opener on Saturday.
Mayanavanua said they are expecting intense competition from the Tongans but believes they have enough in the tank to match their Pacific neighbours.
"It will be a tough and exciting affair. The Tongans have some big names and will come out firing."
"I am really forward to the games against our Pacific neighbours Samoa and Tonga as well as Australia A. The Aussies will surely bring a good tempo to the games."
"I hope to use my experience well and add 10 per cent more in terms of the knowledge that the team already has.
"I'm not saying that Tonga is going to be easy. We all know whenever there's an encounter between Tonga and Fiji, somewhere we expect a bit of flair and also physicality to come out of it."
"For some of us boys to come and visit some of the young lads and pass on the knowledge that we have been passed on and to see that the rugby in Fiji is growing and now that Fiji has a pathway through the Fijian Drua, it just makes Fiji rugby as a whole more competitive on the international stage," he explained.
