QVS makes clean sweep in FSSRL finals

The Queen Victoria School Knights were crowned champions of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League national finals today after winning all grades to clinching the Vodafone trophy at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Queen Victoria were unchallenged throughout dominating their opponents in all three matches.

QVS beat the Nasinu Secondary School Panthers in a clinical 28-6 win to claim the Under 15 grade title before coming from behind to beat Marist Brother Storm  20-18 in the U17 final.

The boys from Vulinitu also proved too strong for the Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute Dragons 28-14 to be crowned the new U19 Vodafone trophy champions.
