Fiji in Pool B for MSG PM Cup

Fiji has been seeded in Pool B with New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands for the Melanesian Football Cup, now dubbed the MSG Prime Ministers Cup.

This follows the official draw for the competition done by the chair of the MSG Leaders Group and Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Bob Loughman in Port Vila recently.

Host nation Vanuatu is in Pool A with its development team and Papua New Guinea.

The tournament that returns after a lapse of many years will feature a football competition recognised as an FFA Tier 1 tournament, played by two groups with a total of 10 matches in a five days match.

The tournament kicks off on the 17th of September and the final will take place on the 30th of September.
