Finishing let Suva down, says Khan

Suva Coach Babs Khan says poor finishing was a let-down in their 1-0 loss to Nadi in Round 16 of the Digicel Premier League on Sunday.

A disappointed looking Khan said despite having numerous scoring chances in both halves, his players could not find the target.

“Definitely not the result we wanted. It’s one of those things that if you can’t take those opportunities you won’t win.”

“Nadi took theirs and put in one, we were chasing the game which was hard.”

“We could have scored goals when we had the opportunities in the first half.”

“We should have put that in. We had two one-on-one and we missed it.”

“So this is what the outcome of the game is.”

“We were playing hard. Some decisions did not go our way.”

Rams Cleaning Services Suva will take on Navua in its next match at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on Sunday.
