Navua expects fiery southern derby

Navua assistant coach Neel Singh said they were well aware they would face a raging Suva side when they meet during their Digicel Premier League.

Coming off a one-week bye, Singh said the team had ample time to prepare.

“Well playing Suva in Suva will be a mammoth task,” Singh told FijiLive.

“We didn't play last week however, we had our training runs to keep the players in the momentum.”

Singh said after a win against Nasinu in their last game, morale was high and his players were ready.

“Suva is an experienced team and they will be coming out firing after their loss to Nadi.

“Our boys are focused after our win against Nasinu.

“But we will do our best and go out there to win our game,”

Singh added they had expected a full line-up with players to avail themselves from the Fiji FANCA team.

Suva host Navua on Sunday at HFC Bank Stadium at 3pm.
