Sims sees yellow in Dragons' loss

Fiji Bati forwards Tariq Sims received a yellow card in Saint George Illawarra Dragons' 24-18 loss to the Cronulla Sharks in Round 21 of  the NRL yesterday.

Just two minutes into the game, the Sharks shed the first blood with Nicholas Hynes and he converted his own try.

Six minutes later, the Dragons got on the scoreboard after a Jack De Belin try and Zac Lomax converted to level it at 6-all.

In the 12th minute, the Dragons went down a man when Tariq Sims was sent to the bin for high contact on Sharks winger Connor Tracey.

The game took a huge twist and the Sharks gave a blistering response through Braydon Trindall and Teigh Wilton while Haynes converted both to take the 18-6 lead at the breather.

The Dragons got back in the match really quick in the second spell with a try from Tautau Moga and Mathew Feagai but Lomax could convert once.

But the Sharks broke through the Dragons' strong set piece and it was Wade Graham that barged over the Dragons for the winning try and Haynes converted to steal the win.
