Two Fiji Futsal teams for OFC tourney

Host nation Fiji will field two teams in the OFC Futsal Invitational Tournament in Suva next month.
 
Head Coach of the Digicel Futsal team, Jerry Sam confirmed this as a 20-member national team marched into camp at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa on Sunday.
 
The former Solomon Islands international said they are happy to have started their preparation for the tournament early.
 
"It is also great news that we will have two teams in the tournament. We will have the main team and a selection team," he told Fiji FA media.
 
"I will see how things go in our training before naming the team. I want our youth players for the selection side so they can also get exposure and game time in the tournament for future."
 
"I have selected the players who have a heart for futsal and I am happy they are adapting to my style of coaching."
 
"We have six weeks of camp and I am sure the boys will be at their best before the championship."
 
Big names in the team include Filipe Baravilala, Shahil Dave, Ramzan Khan, Kalisito Veikoka, Merrill Nand and nippy Nikhil Chand.
