6 Fiji teams for Sanatan World Cup

Six Fijian teams will participate in the ninth edition of the Rams Cleaning Services Sanatan World Cup in Queensland, Australia next month.

Fiji Sanatan, Labasa Sanatan and Nadi Sanatan will feature in the main competition while Nadroga Sanatan, Nasinu Sanatan and Nadi Sanatan will compete in the Over 40s division.

Teams from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Canada will feature in the 4-day event at the Wendy Allison Park.

Competition will be in the main (12 teams), Over 40s (8 teams) and Over 50s (8 teams) categories and the tournament will officially kick off on Thursday 6 October.

The pools are as follows:

Premier Division (Main competition): Group A- Melbourne, Labasa, Queensland, Labasa Dhadkan and NZ All Stars; Group B- Australian All Stars, Nadi, NZ Sanatan and Brisbane; Group C- Canberra, Brisbane United, NZ Nadroga and Fiji Sanatan.

Over 40s: Group A- Brisbane Suva, Sydney Labasa, Nadroga, Canberra; Group B- Melbourne, Nasinu, Queensland Warriors, NZ Labasa Lions; Group C-  Sydney, Seq Sanatan, Nadi, NZ Nadroga.

Over 50sGroup A-  Sydney Nadroga, Australian Masters, Queensland, Viti Boys Canada; Group B- Melbourne, Queensland Legends, NZ Rakiraki, Sydney Nadi.
