Fijian youths to face Aust next week

The Fijian Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Rugby League team will play the Australian Secondary Schoolboys and Girls teams in a first-ever clash next Friday at Albert Park in Suva.
Tournament Director Viola Bogirua says the historic event is the first for both nations and both Schoolboys and Schoolgirls sides are Under 18 Squads, selected from respective secondary schools competitions in Fiji and Australia.
"We are excited that the National School teams of both nations will be playing each other for the first time ever. The school calendar for both Fiji and Australia is a big factor in enabling this international fixture together with the support of both Governments and national federations."
"We are also grateful to the Pacific Aus Sports program and the National Rugby League for their assistance in putting together the tour program.”
The matches kick-off at 1pm for the Schoolgirls Challenge Shield and 3pm for the Schoolboys Challenge Shield.
Tickets to the matches are $7 Flat and $3 for students in uniform.
