Ba bounces back, beats Dreketi

Defending champion Ba bounced back to winning ways and thumped Dreketi 4-1 in its second Vodafone Premier League match of the weekend at Subrail Park in Labasa today.

After suffering a 3-0 defeat to Labasa yesterday, the Men In Black played with more urgency and lanky striker Saula Waqa proved lethal as he netted a hat-rick in the first spell to give the visitors a 3-0 cushion.

Vilikesa Sowani pulled one back for Dreketi before the break to keep the Northerners into the match.

Left back Meli Codro sneaked in with the the fourth goal for Ba midway in the second half.

Ba now has 6 points after three matches while Dreketi has 3 points after three games.
