Baber names experienced team

Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber has named a powerful 12-man squad for the 2017 Hong Kong 7s which kicks off tonight.

Veteran forward Isake Katonibau has made the cut together with Jasa Veremalua, Amenoni Nasilasila,  Joeli Lutumailagi and Sevuloni Mocenacagi.

Captain Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai, Mesulame Kunavula, Apisai Domolailai, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou and Kalione Nasoko have retained their spots from the last leg while Setareki Bituniyata has been named as the injury replacement.

Malolo speedster Nacanieli Labalaba has not been considered.

Fiji opens its campaign against Japan at 11.54pm (Fiji Time).
