Labasa outclasses champs Ba

Former Ba reps Tony Tuivuna and Jonetani Buksh proved to be worthy signings for Labasa today as they featured strongly and netted goals which saw the Babasiga Lions outclass  the reigning champs 3-0 in their Vodafone Premier League encounter at Subrail Park.

Ba entered the match with the favorites tag after featuring in the OFC Champs League recently but two beautiful strikes by Tuivuna saw the hosts enjoy a 2-0 halftime lead.

Replacement Buksh sealed the win for Labasa midway in the second spell.

The win pushes Labasa on top of the standings with 7 points after four matches while Ba which has 3 points after two matches will take on Dreketi in its match at 1.30pm tomorrow.
