Trio to debut in Paris 7s

Army forward Paula Dranisinukula, Tabadamu utility Samuela Bale and  Uluinakau Babas speedster Glen Cakautini have been included in Fiji’s 13-member team for this weekend’s Paris 7s.

Coach Gareth Baber named his final team today, giving a chance to the trio to prove their worth in the Fiji jumper.

Dranisinukula and Bale have made the final 12 while Cakautini has been named as the injury replacement.

Vatemo Ravouvou also returns to full duties this weekend after recovering from a hamstring injury which saw him miss the Singapore 7s while Josua Vakurinabuli has been dropped.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team opens its campaign against defending champion Samoa at 8pm (Fiji Time) tomorrow before facing Russia at 11.26pm and Australia at 3.14am on Sunday.

Fiji squad- Osea Kolinisau (C), Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou, Amenoni Nasilasila, Jasa Veremalua, Kailone Nasoko, Setareki  Bituniyata, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Paula Dranisinukula, Samu Bale, Glen Cakautini and Mesulame Kunavula.
