Champs Lautoka in tough BOG pool

Defending champion Lautoka has been drawn in a tough pool for next month’s INKK Mobile Battle Of Giants in Labasa.

The pools of the 39th edition of the tournament were drawn at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Suva today.

The Blues are in Group B with Fiji FACT champions Rewa, former champions Ba and Dreketi while Group consists of host Labasa, Rakiraki, Suva and Nadi.

The group matches of the tournament will be played at Subrail Park from July 14-16 while the semifinals and final will be played the following weekend.

The winner of the tournament will receive $15000 while the runner-up will get $4000 and the two losing semifinalists will each walk away with $1000.

Lautoka defeated Labasa 2-0 in the final last year.
