Gamel names strong team for NCL clash

Vodafone Fiji national Coach Christophe Gamel has named a strong 23-member squad for the World Cup qualifiers against New Caledonia.

Wellington Phoenix striker Roy Krishna, utility Samuela Kautoga and veteran goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau have been included in the squad while Benaminio Mateinaqara is also returning after missing the second friendly international against the Solomon Islands due to personal commitments.

Navua youngster Manav Permal has been retained and is expected to earn some game time in the two matches.

Fiji plays New Caledonia at 4pm tomorrow in Lautoka and travels to Noumea for the second leg which will be played on Sunday.
