Rugged forward Manasa Saulo and robust centre Levani Botia will not be part of Fiji’s campaign against the Wallabies in Melbourne this Saturday. Saulo’s French club Toulon will feature in the French Top 14 final while Botia who plays for La Rochelle could not arrive into the country on time and missed out on the tour of Australia. Coach John McKee said while the pair will be missed, their absence should give other squad members, including local players to step up and prove their worth in the Flying Fijians jumper. “Manasa is tied up with club commitments and Botia will arrive into Fiji on Monday (today) and he will be available for our next match against Italy.” “We have capable players in the team to fill in for them and this is the opportune time for players who play in their positions to get out there and show us what they have to offer.” The Vodafone Flying Fijians left our shores for Australia yesterday.
