Suva to miss key defenders

Suva will take on reigning champions Nadi in the second semifinal of the 2017 Vodafone Fiji FACT at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Saturday without two key defenders.

Youngsters Epeli Lairoti and Aakash Sharma who featured strongly in the Whites’ group matches have both been ruled out.

Sharma is mourning the death of his father and is currently with his family in Ba while Lairoti has been suspended.

Also out with suspension is midfielder Don Raj while star striker Setareki Hughes is also in doubt as he is recovering from a dislocated elbow.

Good news however is the return of evergreen Pita Rabo and defender Jale Dreloa.

Rabo was not considered for the group matches while Dreloa suffered a concussion in the match against Lautoka and was out of action for three weeks.

Premier Distributors Suva will take on Rams Cleaning/Jacks Nadi at 4pm.
