Suva Coach Gurjit Singh says he is well aware of the threats posed by Labasa and will bank on his experienced players to overcome the Babasiga Lions in their 2018 INKK Mobile Battle Of Giants (BOG) semifinal clash today. Singh, who coached the Northerners in last season’s Battle Of Giants said the semifinal clash will be tough as Labasa has some very good and creative players. “I know what to expect from them and have been preparing my team to counter them. Labasa is a very strong and good side and we have a lot of respect for them.” “Anand Sami is a great Coach and he has really brought about a lot of positives in the team, so they surely will be very tough opponents.” “We have worked on our mistakes and should do better in the semifinal. The players are fit and focused and it will be a very competitive game,” he said. “We have to play organized football. Experienced players like goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau, Remueru Tekiate, Captain Ravinesh Karan Singh, Waisake Navunigasau and Filipe Baravilala should guide the younger players well and their experience will be vital for us in the semifinal.” Professional Valuation sponsored Suva will face Lincoln Refrigeration sponsored Labasa in the first semifinal at 2pm.
