Ba vs Lautoka clash postponed

The feature Vodafone Premier League match of the weekend between champions Lautoka and newly crowned Battle Of Giants (BOG) champion Ba has been postponed.

The match has been postponed following a mutual agreement between the two districts to allow the Men In Black to celebrate their BOG triumph this weekend.

Both teams were also set to miss a number of key players this weekend as they were committed in the FANCA Muslim World Cup in Lautoka.

Lautoka’s Zibraaz Sahib, Mohammed Shazil Ali and Edward Justin together with Ba striker Abbu Zahid are in the Fiji Muslim team.

The Ba vs Lautoka fixture is now likely to be played as a mid-week game either on Wednesday or Thursday night at Govind Park.

The Blues currently lead the VPL standing with 21 points after 9 matches and are the only unbeaten team in the competition so far while Ba sits on fourth place with 12 points after playing 8 matches.
