SBW to return for Roosters

Former All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams will make his appearance in the Sydney Roosters jersey after six years when they take on Canberra Raiders in Round 17 of the NRL on Saturday.

The 35-year-old joined the Roosters last month after his $10 million Super League contract with Toronto Wolfpack ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He has teamed up with the Roosters aiming to feature in the final few rounds of the competition before playoffs.

The Roosters face the Raiders at 9.30pm.
