Reece out to reclaim All Blacks jersey

Fiji-born Crusaders winger Sevu Reece is eager to reclaim a spot in the All Blacks starting lineup this season.

The 24-year-old had a tough 2020 season where he lost his place in the starting team but the Kadavu native is optimistic about his chances this year.

Speaking to, Reece said his form last year wasn't where it should have been and he hopes a change in mindset will lead him back to the heights of 2019.

"Last year was a slow start for me. Over the summer pre-season, I just put all my goals in place and I wanted to start this year on a high."

Reece now realises the need to be engaged in the Crusaders team as much as possible from the outset to reclaim his spot in the All Blacks.

Jordie Barrett was the selectors' preferred option on the right wing last year for the All Blacks in the three nations.
