I believe in building strong ties: Baber

Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says coaching for him is about building relations with everyone.

Baber said coaching has taught him a lot of lessons in life but building a strong relationship that will last forever was something he learnt while coaching the Fiji 7s team.

He said the coaching atmosphere in Fiji has always been different locally and at the international arena.

"One of the biggest parts of coaching for me is that you build relationships. Not everybody is your best friend and that’s not the way it is.”

“Coaching for me is also about understanding where the people come from and the pressure they have to undergo.”

“In your own head how do you have to move that forward in playing ability and delivering the best to the players,” he said.
