Lumelume scores as Storm lose to Eels

Fiji Bati centre Isaac Lumelume scored a try for the Melbourne Storm in their shocking 22-10 defeat to tje Parramatta Eels in Round 24 of the NRL last night.

A refreshed looking Eels pack was rewarded with first points when veteran winger Blake Ferguson crossed in the corner off a Mitchell Moses pass and also converted.

It didn’t take long for the Storm to hit back through Reimis Smith and Ryan Papenhuyzen converted.

Melbourne doubled down with another try, this time through Lumelume, to take the lead.

But the Eels responded on the stroke of half time as Clint Gutherson threw a pinpoint pass to winger Haze Dunster to score and level scores at 10-all.

The Eels kept the ball rolling with a second try to Ferguson and not long after, they were in again, through replacement hooker Joey Lussick with the match-sealing try while Moses slotted a conversion and kicked a penalty.
