A minute later the Dragons switched scoring three tries through Zac Lomax, Ravalawa and Jayden Sullivan but Lomax converted once only giving them a 14-6 lead.

The Cowboys were quick in their response via Kyle Feldt but the Dragons ensured they took the lead with their fourth try from Tyrell Sloan and Lomax converted.

The Dragons leg 20-10 at the break.

The Cowboys came strong in the second stanza scoring four consecutive tries through Ben Hampton, Tom Dearden, Heilum Luki, Kyle Feldt scoring his second while Holmes slotted three conversions.

It was Ravalawa, who tried to get the Dragons back in the game with a try and Lomax converted but Cowboy’s Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow stole the show with a last try and Holmes conversion sealed their victory.
