Ravalawa's 'kung-fu' kick attracts attention

Fiji Bati and St George Illawarra Dragons winger Mikaele Ravalawa had an all-time brain fade in his side’s clash with the Roosters on Sunday.

This after, Ravalawa bizarrely came up with a “kung-fu” looking kick on James Tedesco.

The Roosters skipper was bracing to catch a bomb when Ravalawa came running out of nowhere and leapt into the air to challenge for the ball.

When questions were thrown at Fox League commentator Andrew Voss “What happened there? Ravalawa running through... I‘ve got no idea,” he replied.

“Some how Tedesco ended up still catching the ball.”

“We don’t get often to use the expression kung-fu but Ravalawa has just produced a kung-fu kick on Tedesco,” Voss added.

Greg Alexander, another commentator, couldn't make sense of it either, calling it a “kung-fu kick.”

“He just came flying into the picture. I don’t know exactly (what happened) and all I saw was feet. It was almost a kung-fu kick,” he said.

Making the moment even more bizarre was Roosters five-eighth who tripped over in the background and rolled on the ground at the same time Ravalawa fell onto the ground.
