Serritslev hopes intensity will be high

National Football Coach Flemming Serritslev says when football resumes; there will be a lot of competition amongst players at the district level.

Serritslev said the intensity level of football will be high since the sport has been on hold for the past four months.

He said injured players should take advantage of the current pandemic and try to recover.

“Competitions will get bigger because you know players are eager to bounce back on the field. It’s going to be competitions at the district level and also amongst the teams. Every player will want to play when the sport resumes which will be an interesting thing to see. We will get to see intense competition from players giving their best.”

“Thinking wisely, some players who sustained an injury in the previous round can recover and get back on track on soccer starts. The onus is on the players as to how they spend time and what they do in the pandemic.”

The Danish international also mentioned the door for the national team is always open and is hoping to see some new faces this year.
