Sims to captain Dragons against Roosters

Fiji Bati forward Tariq Sims will captain the Saint George Illawarra Dragons against the Sydney Roosters in round 22 of NRL tomorrow.

Sims will captain the team in the absence of Ben Hunt who sustained arm injury and Andrew McCullough who sustained ankle injury.

Sims returns from suspension at lock with Jack de Belin shifting to front row due to Blake Lawrie's (hand) unavailability.

Josh McGuire moves to hooker and Kaide Ellis has been named to start in the absence of McCullough. Daniel Alvaro returns to the 17 for the first time since Round 16.

Jack Bird will shift to the centres for the returning Matt Dufty who will don the No.1 jersey.

Adam Clune has reverted to 18th man with Talatau Amone named for his club debut in the halves. Jayden Sullivan has been promoted to the interchange as a result.

The Dragons vs Roosters match will kick off at 4pm on Sunday.
