New Lautoka midfielder Antonio Tuivuna is eager to play against his former district Labasa in round seven of the Digicel Premier League.
Speaking exclusively to FijiLive, Tuivuna said he is currently working on his fitness level after being away from football for more than six months.
The 26-year-old also said he is doing his personal training at home while he waits for football to resume in the country.
“’I’m doing my personal training and just want t0 stay fit and be ready for the games when it will resume.”
“Yes, just working on my fitness and weight so that I get in my usual form. I have to put control on my diet on what I eat and the amount of food also.”
“Things have been tough during this pandemic but I’m taking it as a challenge....It's a good challenge for me to do my personal training and how I look after myself till the games resume.”
“It’s been more than six months now I haven’t played any matches but I’ve been doing my training and waiting patiently for the day to get back in the field.”
“Labasa has always been a good side and I always like to play against good teams. Yeah I’m looking forward to playing against Labasa,” he added.
