Tuwai gifted new vehicle

Two times Olympics Fiji 7s Gold medalist and Captain Jerry Tuwai received a new vehicle from Commercial Motors and Veiwekani Taxis today.

Company director Daniel Sharma said the car is a gift from their heart to Tuwai who made the Fijians proud while the country is battling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharma said Tuwai has proved that hard work and determination can lead to any success in life.

He also acknowledged the hard work and determination put by the other players and the national coach Gareth Baber for successfully defending the Gold.

The Fijian Government had earlier announced that they will provide Tuwai a piece of land, build a house and $33,000 for his achievements.
