100% first dose target achieved: Patel

The Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel has confirmed that 100percent of the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine target has been achieved.

Patel confirmed this during a press conference at the Fiji FA Ba football academy today.

He also assured that the full vaccination target will be achieved by the end of this month as they plan to resume football activities soon.

He said district officials have been very effective in getting their players vaccinated to stay protected from the deadly COVID-19 virus.
