4th leg of Super 7s Series likely: FRU

The Fiji Rugby Union is looking at hosting the fourth and final leg of the Super Sevens Series before the Fiji Men's and Women's teams participation in the Dubai 7s in December.

FRU chief executive John O'Connor said they want to have the tournament so players can get their much needed game time before they travel for the World Sevens Series.

"We will not be playing in Canada and the other tournaments have been cancelled, so we need some competition and the Super Series should be a good platform for both our men's and women's teams."

"The Super 7s Series really helped in our Olympic preparations and if things get better by November and we can host competitions then most definitely we will look at playing the last leg," he said.
