Baber not keen to quarantine: O’Connor

Fiji Rugby Union chief executive John O’Connor says Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber will return but is not keen to quarantine.

O’Connor said Baber is interested in returning but he will only return when the COVID-19 restrictions are eased in Fiji.

Since Fiji 7s team will not take part at next month’s Vancouver 7s, O’Connor said there are chances that Baber will return in November and prepare a team for the next series.

O’Connor mentioned that being in quarantine is not easy and they are waiting for the pandemic to calm down as they anticipate for Baber’s return.
