Football competitions to resume in November

The Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal has confirmed that four football competitions will resume in November.

The four competitions would be Digicel Futsal League, Digicel Premier League, Digicel Senior League and Digicel Women’s Super League.

Pal said the football competitions will follow strict rules and the districts will have to follow the new norms and protocols.

Pal also said Fiji FA is working on plans to resume the competitions behind closed doors. He said this is for the health and safety of players, officials and management.

He also said the new return to play protocol will be sent to the districts after the green light is given by the Ministry of Health, Fiji Sports Commission and the Government.
