FRU works on Fuli's new contract

Fiji Rugby Union is working on offering Fijiana 7s head coach Saiasi Fuli a lucrative contract.

Fuli's contract with FRU ends in December but chief executive John O'Connor has indicated that they want the former Fiji 7s halfback to stay.

"We want Fuli to stay as his achievement with the team has been great. He has worked very hard to lift women's rugby in the country and I am sure he has more better plans to further develop the sport."

"We are working on few things and this includes a lucrative package for Fuli," said O'Connor.

Under Fuli's guidance, the Fijiana 7s team created history in the Olympics by winning a bronze medal.
