Need for players in camp: Patel

There is growing a need to get the national team players in the camp, says Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel.

Patel said they are looking forward to hosting a national team camp this month.

He said the World Cup qualifiers are getting nearer and Fiji has less time frame to prepare a strong team.

“The team has to be assembled and all players might travel to Qatar in the Oceania region to have the qualification there.”

“It’s a very short time for coach Flemming to get the national team players together. We are expecting to get approval from the national team players to come from the 15th to 20th of September in camp,” Patel said.
