Pau rugby club has re-signed Tokyo Olympic Gold medalist Aminiasi Tuimaba until the end of 2024.
The Club in a statement said they are delighted to Tuimaba and another French player Nicolas Corato.
Having become the Section's serial scorer at the end of last season, Tuimaba proved to be an unparalleled asset for the Pau three-quarter line.
He arrived at the club in the summer of 2020, where he scored 8 tries in 15 games.
His great experience of rugby sevens is fully put to the benefit of his game of XV, this true athlete also won the title of Olympic Champion with the Fiji 7s team at the last Olympic Games!
Aminiasi Tuimaba is delighted with the extension of his contract.
“Extending to Pau makes me very happy, I really like this club where I have flourished for a year. I want to achieve great things with the Section and be one of the best finishers on the team," he said in a statement.
Team manager Sébastien Piqueronies said they are continuing to solidify their workforce by focusing on stability.
“Nicolas and Aminiasi have shown all the confidence that can be placed in them through their performance and their hard work. They have the fierce desire to grow with and for the club. "
