Tamani, Tabu dropped due to visa issues

Stylish Fiji 7s playmaker Terio Tamani and forward Kavekini Tabu have been named as non-traveling reserves to Dubai after failing to secure their visas for the opening leg of the World Sevens Series.

Fiji Rugby Union chief executive John O'Connor while confirming this said the pair has been replaced by Wardens Captain Tevita Dugunu and Raiwasa Taveuni's Iowane Raturaciri in the 13-man squad.

He said they follow up on the visas of the players with the US Embassy in Suva and if all goes well then Tamani will join the team later in Dubai.

The Fiji Men's and Women's teams depart for Dubai at 10pm.
