We need better decision making: Fuli

Fiji 7s Head Coach Saiasi Fuli says there is a need for better decision making and time management in the second leg of the Dubai 7s this week.

Fuli in a video interview said they did a team review and picked up areas that lacked the Fiji 7s side behind over the weekend.

"Looking at the last two games against USA and Argentina, it comes back to those small issues like decision making under stress and pressure. We have to be clinical, stay composed and manage our time well and manage our rugby from the first till the last whistle."

"We did our review individually and collectively. As a team we knew that it’s another tough week to prepare looking at what we did in the first week."

"We started well on the first day against good oppositions Canada, France and Australia. And we came out victorious against very tough, physical Kenyans but felt short against the US."

"There's a lot of learning and work to be done this week and it's a matter of how well we can adjust. How well we can bounce back. How well we can prepare mentally and physically and have a good recovery, be ready and freshen up for the second tournament," he explained.

Meanwhile, Fiji 7s side has been drawn in Pool C with Argentina, France and Spain.

Pool A has Leg 1 champions South Africa, Great Britain, Ireland and Japan while Pool B has USA, Australia, Kenya and Canada.
