Navua has turf advantage, says Singh

Rewa Coach Roderick Singh says Navua will have turf advantage when the two sides meet in Round 8 fixture of the Digicel Premier League on Sunday.

Singh said the Navua players have a lot of knowledge of playing at the turf and they will try to defeat the Delta Tigers.

"It's an important game for us because we want to continue reaching out for maximum points to continue our lead in DPL."

"I think Navua will be strong for us because they are the injured lions coming out from their past defeat."

"For us, playing at Uprising will be tough because we haven't been associated with the turf whilst you see Navua has always been training at the turf."

"So it will be a huge difference playing at a stadium ground and playing at a turf for Rewa. It's a challenge for us and we will try to adjust to the turf and bring out a positive result."

Leaders Rewa will travel to Uprising Sports Centre to play Navua at 3pm.
