We needed Super W: Seruvakula

Fijiana Drua Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says they needed  the Super W competition going into the World Cup this year.

Seruvakula told rugby.com.au that they are very grateful to be training in a professional environment as the team needed to play above its standard.

The Fijiana Drua undeniably holds the core of players that will represent the Fijiana XVs in New Zealand.

"It's a big step and one we've been preparing for three years,"

"And it's like a trial at the same time; the coaches can clearly pick players for the World Cup."

Meanwhile, Fijiana Drua will face the New South Wales Waratahs at 6.05pm at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday.
